Buffering

Just finished an evening's audio-visual entertainment that should act as a buffer to tomorrow night's Beer And Bad Movies. Father Ted, Yes Minister and 3 hours of Terry Jones talking about the crusades. What more could you want, relaxation and education .

I Should've Gone Home in a Horse Drawn Ambulance!

Gods above, I ache. All over. Too much HACKY, SLASHY DEATH I think. Exercise of this intensity doesn't agree with me, obviously. I've got Monster's Revenge!!!!

Once again Mage is over for another month. One of the players was looking to start their third character in 5 months. That's a bit much. Just pick one and run with it. If the going is tough, don't cash in and start again, that's no challenge. This really bugs me. I'll be glad when White Wolf kills off the whole lot so I can quit and get on with the rest of my life.

You're Goin' Home in a Horse Drawn Ambulance!

LRP time again and it felt good. The costumes, the silly accents of the NPC's The VICIOUS HACKY DEATH DEALING! What a laugh! after a hiatus of about three years I am back in the saddle again and fast approaching my precious lethality with all sorts of (latex) weapons as the Monsters learned to their dismay. The only aspect of the game I have yet to relearn is to pull my blows. Oh well, the Monsters will just have to wait until that's sorted. Anyway, bruises are a learning experience. If you get one, you learn to avoid the cause!

In other news, Bloodbowl was on again today with a reduced list of fixtures due to the coaches being elsewhere. There was a shock defeat for the Human team by the Chamaeleonic Lifeforms who romped home with a 3-0 victory. This leaves the league wide open and it's anybodies Championship now.

It could only happen to me

I seem to be cursed with a "Charlie Brown"ish existence. There is no Great Pumpkin, the little red headed girl will never notice me and my kite is stuck in the kite eating tree. At least I don't get rocks. Yesterday, for example, was Valentine's Day. You may also have noted what regard I hold the day in from my postings. But lo! On the morning of the 14th I get up to find an envelope addressed to me on the mat!

What is it?
Open it quick!

Ah, no need to get excited. It's only a rejection letter for my latest job application. Rejected on Valentine's Day. In the sage's immortal words, "Good Grief!"
